Biography

Mrs. Lisa A. Koch has been a resident of Cecil County for 43 years. She is a product of the Cecil County Public School System, graduating from Perryville High School in 1981. Lisa studied at Goldey Beacom College. She is employed by Mercantile County Bank. She has been with the bank for six years as a bank teller. Prior to this she was a home daycare provider while caring for her own children.

Lisa has been an active supporter of all the local Parent Teacher Organizations at the elementary and secondary levels of Cecil County Public Schools. These groups gave her the courage to begin her school board service. Lisa has also been an avid supporter of the Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay. Lisa has been an active member of this organization for fifteen years. She has served as the Neighborhood Organizer for the Cecilton Elementary School area as well as Girl Scout Troop Leader for all age levels.

Lisa and her husband Bob are parents of two children, both of whom attend or attended Cecil County Public Schools. Stephanie was a 2001 graduate of Bohemia Manor High School and a 2005 graduate of Frostburg State University. Rob, Jr. is currently a junior at Bohemia Manor High School who enjoys soccer and lacrosse.

Lisa looks forward to her continued board service until her successor is elected in November 2008.
