School Board Election Information
On April 26, 2010, the Cecil County Board of Education hosted a School Board Candidate Forum where they discussed the opportunities and challenges associated with running and being elected to the school board. The attached presentation, which contains information on the election process and the roles and responsibilities of the Board of Education, was shared that evening. Board members are also available to present school board election information to interested community groups and parent organizations.

Board of Education members will be elected this year from commissioner districts 3 (Rising Sun/Fair Hill/Zion), 4 (Port Deposit/Perryville) and 5 (North East). The filing deadline for candidates is July 6, 2010.
